100 Years of Style, Music & Dance.

(I suppose these people didn’t know about the significance of this particular 100 years to the Chinese.)

But anyway, one thing that I’m always curious about: What would people remember about the years we’ve just lived through? What was the noughties and what will this decade made of? Perhaps…

Fashion: Minimalism, ala Alexander Wang, Calvin Klein, Helmut Lang? It builds on the influence of the rockers of the eighties and nineties, but cleans up the look. Frumpiness isn’t as in these days. 

Music: Electro? “Indie”? I’ve been listening to the same stuff for years and years so I can’t tell. 

Dance: It’s all about the slinky bodies. Oh, and shufflers. 

Everything’s mostly a dilution of what happened decades ago. We are the postmodern age. What’s going to happen next? Perhaps it’s time for a reboot - for the world to shut down and start anew.
