Blue Gate Crossing 藍色大門 by Yee Chin-yen 易智言 (2002)

My all-time favourite Taiwanese movie. Standard synopsis: An unexpected love triangle occurs when three high school students experience their first taste of love. 

This is a very simple story told very simply, and shot beautifully. Movies don’t have to be that complicated.
